Skills Required:
5+ years of performance testing, tuning and analysis
experience in the web development industry ideally in the retail space
5+ years of hands on experience using AP tools like (Willy,
dynaTrace, Splunk)
5+ years of experience with software design and development
in object oriented language using C# or Java
3+ years of experience using sitescope
5+ years of experience with LoadRunner/JMeter/any other
load generation tools
Proficiency with the following: XML, DHTML, Web Services,
REST, Java, J2EE, Perl, IBM WebSphere, UNIX, db2
Experience with deep dive performance analysis on all
layers of application stack
Excellent comprehension of Internet protocol suites (e.g.
IP, TCP, http/https)
Hands on experience with debugging, configuration and
tuning of Application server, JVM, OS and databases
Ability to write bash scripts for information gathering
purposes from UNIX & Linux
Knowledge of system interaction and data flows, especially
identification of impact from request/changes.
Has experience with structuring the performance testing
task on multiple projects, estimating schedules, resources and dependencies
Strong Analystical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of SQL queries and GUI design standards
Working
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU
utilization
Working knowledge of operating system design/tuning
Working knowledge of database tuning and administration
