Position Description: Excellent communication skills, data analysis,
extensive utilization of DTS/SSIS for data transformation and loading of
data, understanding of data modeling concepts, ability to understand and
work with complex data models. Physical database tables and design, works
with system administrator and uses data dictionary software packages to
ensure data integrity and security, recovers corrupted data and eliminates
data redundancy. Uses tuning tools to improve database performance. Works
with the java development teams, focusing on the back-end portion of data
storage considerations and performance considerations for application
systems being developed.
Job Requirement: Skills Required:
3 years of related work experience, especially on in a
software development team using an industry standard methodology (Agile,
Waterfall, Rup, etc).
Required - Microsoft SQL server application development.
Required – Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL server
administration.
Expert SQL developer experience.
SQL programming,
Writing stored procedures,
Ability to quickly learn existing data models
Creating new data models or additions
Writing SSIS,
Writing DTS Packages,
Expert level knowledge in SQL programming.
Proven problem solving and debugging skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills as well
as analytical ability.
Preferred Skills Required: MS SQL Certified, Bachelor Degree in Computer
Science/Information Technology, 5 years of related work experience,
especially on in a software devlopement team using an industry standard
methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Rup, etc).
