Prepare Technical Design / Specifications; develop routines for data extraction and loading. To design, build, program ETL procedures (DataStage/Unix) · Hands on development, and attention to detail from analysis through implementation and post-production QA. Provide technical/user documentation and training. Responsible for analyzing data requirements and developing ETL for Healthcarel systems. The individual in this role will work closely with data architects, translate complex business data requirements into efficient ETL packages, will understand and apply the concepts of proper ETL design, and gain a strong understanding of source data to ensure the design approach results in a logical and efficient ETL solution to support the Data Conversion efforts. Determines and implements solutions for ETL design problems. Validates ETL designs for accuracy and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement · Analyzes the impact of source system data design changes as they relate to existing ETL solutions and makes appropriate changes to existing ETL solutions.
