client has acquired a Canadian company who is currently live on SAP. They
must move off this infrastructure due to the acquisition. This role is
part of a project team that will be migrating a Canadian entity from their
SAP system into our clients existing SAP Landscape. This project involves
migrating an existing company in Canada into and existing US SAP landscape
and client. The goal of this project is to limit any business impact to
both companies and create operational efficiencies of a single SAP
environment. There will be a MM Consultant from Mexico supporting this
effort. They will focus on MM and this role will lead both PP/MM. Tasks
and Deliverables include:
Defining/Confirmation MM/PUR Organization Structure
Develop Gap Assessment of US and Canadian Purchasing, Inventory
Mgmt and Procurement processes and Reporting requirements
Moving and updating configuration for PP to support final Business
Processes
Leading Integration requirements with SD/MM/PP for account
determination
Support Master and Transactional Data requirements and validation
Lead for Data Migration of all MM/PP Master and Transactional Data
Validate all Reporting and Forms Requirements
Testing, UAT and Cut-Over planning and execution
Knowledge Preferred:
Senior MM/PP Consultant with focus on PP
Production Planning configuration with validate of MM
Configuration
Support all Data Migration (heavy data migration need).
At least 5 years of SAP MM/PP experience needed.
At least 5 years of experience in creating requirement
specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.
Proven ability to identify client needs, address the needs, and
eliminate potential client conflict.
Ability to transform client needs into clear deliverables.
Lead Process workshops and document final Design.
Additional experience in WM or FI/CO preferred
