Job position: *System Architect IV* Location: *Monterey Park, CA* Duration: *Long Term* The Systems Architect independently provides specific systems consulting, systems analysis, and overall leadership related to the acquisition and use of complex enterprise computing systems throughout. This individual possesses and maintains expert-level knowledge and specialized experience in areas of systems integration (interfacing), programming languages, operating systems, servers and storage networking technologies. The position will assist in carrying out improvements and enhancements. Equally important is the ability to resolve system problems and recommend solutions to end users. *Essential Job Outcomes & Functions* · Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to Systems/Applications Analysts, Systems Engineers, other Systems Architects, and application support/development teams. · Where applicable, design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems. · Apply In-depth knowledge of systems and business to the development of technical design for large complex processes and projects. · Conduct research and make recommendation on ETL products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts. · Manages some or all parts of large and small projects/assignments, including system/application implementation using accepted project management techniques and tools. · Helps to ensure that all systems and applications are compatible and consistent with the installed base of information systems and in compliance with established architectural and technical standards. · Undertakes ad-hoc assignments as required to react quickly and positively to new or emergent situations. *Job Specific Competencies* · Manage multiple small projects/assignments and may participate in portions of large projects to ensure achievement of objectives, timetables, budget, and overall success. · Functions as an important contact for Information Services to ensure communication, collaboration, and teamwork. Identifies and resolves problems and issues that arise in and outside of the department as it relates to the Tapestry build. · Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required to react quickly and positively to new or emergent situations. Create interim workarounds until fixes can be delivered, and provide customers with tip sheets or relevant material to implement interim solutions. · *Technology:* · Oracle, SQL Server, Mainframe, SQL, Data Profiling, Informaticas profiling tool. Good to have experience with Wherescape, Greenplum etc *Minimum Requirements / Work Experience:* · 12 years of experience in which last 6-7 years is in data modeling and data mapping. Banking product knowledge on capital markets products (derivatives, options & futures, fixed income, etc.) or Core Banking products (loans, deposits, treasury – FX & Money Market, Trade Finance) · Data Warehousing & Data Integration · Leadership qualities *Education / Licensure / Certification:* · Bachelor’s or advance degree in Computer Science/engineering or Information Systems.
