Responsibilities:
• Code review of business entity name search, a complex database/phonetic
logic/rule amalgam tailored for SOS use. Document the process and explore
possibility of using PL/SQL to replace a C++ object called by Oracle.
• Review of ASP.NET / C# / Oracle / jQuery product being delivered to SOS.
Verify that the solution conforms to best practices, and participate in
final testing and implementation phases.
• Review of ASP.NET / VB / Oracle grant management system. Develop
specifications and other presentations for possible rewrite.
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
8 Microsoft Visual Studio (ASP.NET, C#, VB)
2 Oracle PL/SQL
2 JavaScript and/or jQuery
Preferences:
Years Skills/Experience
2 UNIX scripting, document
image management/workflow, Team Foundation Server, Visual Basic 6, USAS
(State of Texas’ accounting system), and phonetics
