*Position : Sr. ETL Developer With **Pentaho* *Location : Herndon , VA* *Duration : 6 months + Contract * *Responsibilities:* · Design, develop and test ETL processes using Pentaho and other ETL tools as necessary to bring in all needed data sources for the organization. · Deploy ETL processes from development through production including all needed environments. · Help develop architecture and solutions for overall BI platform, involving Cognos, Pentaho, Netezza, or other BI applications. *Education/Experience:* · Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics; · 10+ years’ experience in the business intelligence area with Pentaho ETL development. · Any experience in the business intelligence area with DataStage ETL development would be plus. · Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills. · Must be able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders across all levels of the organization. · Experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions, Netezza in particular, but any PostgreSQL is advised. · Any experience with Datameer for analytics. · Superior analytical and creative problem solving skills. Demonstrated successes in data analysis, drawing conclusions and improvement. · Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office tools and common statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, SPSS).
