*Education* · Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training *Experience* · *Ten years *in IT; expert experience in technical leadership and database design, administration and support experience, including demonstrated experience working with structured methodologies and participating in the design and development of large-scale applications in a distributed computing environment · Expert experience with relational database platform architecture, design, administration and support · Expert application infrastructure experience · Ability to mentor application developers in regard to database design and administration · Ability to consolidate business and technical requirements and model data appropriately · Ability to apply innovative approaches to solving design and technical issues · Solid experience with monitoring and analyzing production database platforms *Technical Skills* · Experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server and Sybase · Database scripting including PL/SQL and T/SQL · Modeling tools: Erwin, Visual Modeler, etc. · Monitoring tools: Oracle Enterprise Manager, Microsoft Performance Monitor, etc. · Enterprise application integration including third-party systems and middleware tools *Additional Technical Skills (Preferred)* · Visual Basic, C++, Java, UML object modeling · XML including schemas (XSD) and transformation (XSLT) · N-Tier architecture, web infrastructure, security, and firewalls *DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS* · Possess excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) and strong leadership qualities · Ability to lead and facilitate effective meetings · Ability to work unsupervised and the ability to multi-task · Excellent organizational and time management skills · Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously · Team player with client oriented focus · Strong understanding of structured analysis and design techniques *ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES* · Design, develop, enhance and maintain database solutions within software applications by authoring proof of concept functionality, authoring prototype applications, and assisting in critical support issues · Proficiency in business analysis, event modeling, data modeling, logical and physical database design, data acquisition analysis and design, data access analysis and design, DBMS optimization, archive and recovery strategy, load strategy design and implementation, security, and change management · Assist in developing a rigorous set of models for how the data is to be structured and used to ensure that transaction processing is efficient and effective and that information to support decision making is readily available · Analyze functional requirements to define technology, tools and platform standards by researching and understanding issues of technology advancement and manage efforts to implement new tools and platforms. · Research and propose technical solutions to challenges, as required by the business, by formally presenting the approach, advantages, and disadvantages of all proposed solutions. · Review technical design documentation as required by each project · Perform support of applications as required by the business · Author overall system technical documentation · Create, enhance and execute a detailed plan for the project · Ensure adherence to departmental processing standards · Supervise technical direction of development team as required by each project -- *Thanks & Regards* *Raman M* *REASONSOURCETECH.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
