PROJECT: Act as Tivoli Product Suite Subject Matter Expert(SME)on the Event Management Team that provides comprehensive monitoring solutions to elevate the visibility into the health, availability and performance of client's IT assets within the enterprise.
Expertise with: IBM Tivoli Products: Tivoli Access Manager, IBM Tivoli Monitoring, Tivoli Business Service Manager, various IT Composite Application Manager products and the Netcool product suite Comprehensive understanding of Operating Systems, Databases (Oracle, SQL, Sybase, DB2), network, middleware products, Mainframe, Distributed server hardware/software in an Enterprise environment (3000+ Windows, UNIX, Linux servers) REQUIRED Experience: *Minimum 5 yrs Tivoli Engineering experience to include; design, implementation, configuration and administration of Tivoli product suite. * Proven ability to actively listen and understand customer monitoring needs associated with the critical business functions of applications and infrastructure. * Minimum 5 yrs experience in providing monitoring solutions with Tivoli tools, meeting or exceeding customer needs. * ITIL v3 Certification is preferred * Results-oriented and proven ability to multitask with little or no management oversight. * Pursues work with drive, energy and focus. * Demonstrates personal accountability for achieving results with established timelines. * Identifies and engages the right stakeholders across multiple organizations to make appropriate decisions and maximize results. * Good knowledge of industry trends relative to the tools and techniques for providing alert services solutions. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Good presentation skills, creating and delivering to all levels of management.
