DBA Lead/Coordinator Responsibilities

•     ?Coordinate Oracle and SQL Server DBA teams, including Offshore,
operating in a 24x7 environment in accordance with all service level
agreements and customer expectations.
•         Monitor project, delivery schedules and resources.
•         Lead team in proper escalation of internal tickets to both
vendors and internal technical & service delivery team members supporting
specific functions and technologies.
•         Ensure team is conducting proper ticketing, documentation,
process adherence, etc.
•         Provide the correct team support - detailed investigative and
analytical information - when problems occur.
•         Plan, coordinate and execute change management processes
•         Balance staff workload and identify gaps in technical
capabilities so they can be filled or avoided to meet project and
operational needs.
•         Support root cause analysis  and define action plans to prevent
future outages and ensure continuous availability of services and meeting
all service level agreements.
•         Establish and guide the capture of performance metrics.
•         Develop and maintain support documentation of work performed with
detailed process steps.
•         Provide subject matter expertise as needed; including estimating
levels of effort and troubleshooting.
•         Recognize areas of process improvement, initiate and implement
approved changes, and document policies, processes and procedures.
•         Monitor and report on performance and customer satisfaction
levels and research methods to improve overall client support.
•         Maintain a relationship with the customer base, continuously
gathering feedback concerning the perceived quality of support.
•         Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with customer to provide
project related status.
•         Comply with all Fujitsu internal processes and procedures
including Delivery Oversight requirements.
•         Experience scheduling 24/7 work rotations for a team
•         ITIL Foundation or Certification a Plus
           PMP Certification required
•         Team Lead experience is a Plus
