Our client is in need of a Sitecore Developer. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. *Requirements:* · 3-5 Years of Sitecore Experience. · 3+ Years of C# software development experience including ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> MVC. · 4+ Years software development experience with an Object Oriented language. *Optional Skills:* · Proficient with C#, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> MVC, LINQ, AJAX, Web Service development, and Transact-SQL development for SQL Server 2008. · Proficient on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and developing a cross-browser compatible websites. · Proficient with object oriented design & programming. · Experience with ORM (NHibernate) a plus. · Applied knowledge of Unit testing (NUnit). · Demonstrated understanding of code optimization and software design principles and system development lifecycle. · Good understanding of source versioning systems (TFS, SVN). *The Sitecore Developer will:* · Work with and manage the development resources for applications in .NET framework. · Interact with Account Staff to manage expectations for work and resources availability as well as provide subject matter expertise for technical assistance. · Communicate with client to offer technical assistance with the IT and Brand Management teams. · Identify new solutions for projects that align with client’s goals and objectives for new tools and technologies. · Oversee changes to existing web applications as well as development and implementation of new applications including management of resources, project timelines and communicating with other teams. · Identify solutions to fix issues or errors with the applications. · Design new solutions. · Oversee team’s unit and stress testing of applications and collaborate with QA team. · Maintain project documentation, as well as overseeing project file management.
