*6+ months* *Phone interview / no on-site needed* *$52.00 hr.* TITLE: C# / .Net Developer with Testing experience Job Description: Notes from Manager / The top three skills are … Software Engineer: C#/.NET or Java/Swing development Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) using Cucumber/Ruby Microsoft SQL Server (Transact-SQL) Responsibilities: - Build and maintain automated test suites to exercise our applications. - Work with the development and test engineering teams to automate testing. - Conduct research on emerging technologies. - Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system. - Setup data using SQL queries independently as well as understand/write SQL procedures. - Requires thorough technical, analytical and operational knowledge within the QA area of accountability with specific responsibilities for design, development and implementation of test strategies. - Responsible for the execution of integration, system, and regression testing of software. - Ensures test deliverables are prepared per enterprise guidelines; monitors the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensures that technical and functional objectives are met. - Adhere to defect tracking process; document software defects, using a defect tracking tool, monitor the progress in a timely manner, escalate aging and priority defects. - Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards.
