Will also be responsible for supporting third party vendor software utilities and packages. Candidate must be highly proficient with all aspects of the z/OS operating system as well as administration and support of SMPE, TSO, VSAM file management, JCL, CACF, TCP/IP. Candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and will often be a direct liaison with other IS development and infrastructure teams. *Other preferred skills and experience.* • Working knowledge of IBM hardware systems including storage, Z Series, VTS and tape libraries. • Working knowledge of mainframe storage replication such as VTS Grid and Global Mirror • Working knowledge of CA and Compuware mainframe related software. • Working knowledge of DFSMS, DFHSM, RACF Security • Ability to work in both individual and group settings.
