Implement HA solution and define Backup/Recovery strategy. Plan, drive and implement capacity planning and best practices · Participate in planning, maintenance and implementation of all aspects of database disaster recovery · Must be highly proficient in all aspects of database administration. Including, but not limited to, backup/recovery/DR, all flavors of replication, clustering, advanced performance tuning, and proactive monitoring · Willing to expand knowledge of other data technologies, including MongoDB, Redis, HBase, and Hive. · Database performance tuning which includes Instance tuning and DB tuning. DB Parameter tuning (Semaphores, Shared Memory etc.) · Contribution towards migration / upgrade of database if needed.
