Below find the job description If interested than kindly share your updated resume. *Job Summary:* *Company: *Net2Source, Inc. *Position:* Unix System Admin *Location:* NYC, NY *Interview:* F2F *Duration:* 6+ Months Need Locals Only 5+ YEARS US EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. *Responsibilities:* - Daily administration of Unix and Linux servers and applications, print queues, etc, at several sites - Patch management - Administration and management of SAN systems (EMC, Dell) - Maintain DRP functions such as file replication to standby data center - Administer backups at Headquarters, and support backup operations at other sites when necessary - Ensures that all information technology implementations are within approved IT Standards, Policies, and Procedures. - Maintain departmental documentation library, contributing additions/revisions as necessary - Adhere to IT standards for the enterprise related to documentation, naming conventions, security, data storage, backup and recovery. - Performs other duties and special tasks as assigned. *Required Qualifications/Skills* - Strong Unix and Linux administration skills (HP-UX, as well as Red Hat, SUSE, SCO, and Oracle RDMS Enterprise Linux) - SAN administration - EMC Clariion and VNX, RecoverPoint, Avamar, DataDomain (Dell Equallogics a plus) - Solid understanding of TCP/IP and network functionality - High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. - Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate with executive level management. - Very good business sense, time management skills and administrative ability. - Ability to do data and system analysis, performance tuning, and capacity planning. - Knowledge and experience with computer hardware, multiple operating systems as well as backup and recovery. - Ability to recognize and identify potential areas where information technology can provide value and eliminate waste. - Ability to travel within and outside the United States of America - BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent work experience. *About Net2Source, Inc.* Net2Source is an employer-of-choice for over 1000 consultants across the globe.
