Role : Oracle apps DBA Duration: 6+ months Location: Atlanta, GA SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENT: Provide technical expertise configuring and deploying Identity Management solutions and Oracle Middleware. Also install, configure, and maintain internet/intranet sites and Oracle instances in Development and QA environments. Responsibilities 1. Participate on, and provide input to, project teams in proper deployment, configuration, and usage of Portal, Identity Management, and other web based products and utilities. 2. Manage source control and configuration (build automation) for development and QA environments. (MS Team System) 3. Support project teams to ensure development and QA systems are available for all project work as deemed necessary by Project Manager. 4. Work with Production Administrators to document configuration for all above referenced products for successful transition to Production environment. 5. Create implementation plans that define, in details, steps for deploying productions to QA and Production environments 6. Deploy solutions to production environment under direction of Architecture team 7. Work closely with Application Developers and Enterprise Architects to assist in environmental troubleshooting and configuration of new custom applications. 8. Work with QA team to ensure Portal and intranet/Internet environments are up to latest code and functionality for various tests such as load testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing. 9. Monitor application performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future 10. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations 11. Provide weekly status report updates to manager QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications 1. Must have at least 5 years experience managing web servers, with Weblogic or Apache. 2. Identity Management – experience with Identity Management Solutions SAML 2.0 Standards Provisioning and Identity Synchronization with Oracle Identity Suite 11G R2 (PS2) Web Access Management with Oracle Identity Suite 11G R2 (PS2) 3. Portal / Web Applications a. .net Framework & JAVA, Web Development Alternatives, SQL Server/Oracle Database solutions, b. Web Server technologies: Microsoft IIS server techno; Unix/Linux Apache server, Oracle c. Internet/Extranet Appliances Configuration – F5 d. SQL Server/Oracle e. Mobile Applications Mobile development Weblogic Server f. Portal and Content Management: JAVA development framework Oracle Mobile Suite - Mobile Device Management Apple IOS, Android, Blackberry; handsets and slates Oracle WCI 10GR4 portal (or equivalent) Oracle Universal Content Management 11G Portal Accessible Applications - generally JAVA applications 4. Must have experience developing and administering application build and deployment processes and managing source control (Visual Source Safe and MS Team System preferred). 5. Must have extensive knowledge of Linux Operating Systems 6. Must have experience Administering LDAP directories with basic understanding of Active Directory security integration into Windows Server OS. 7. Must have experience with identity management platforms (Oracle/Symphony/preferred). 8. Have basic knowledge of setup and maintenance of virtual environment products (VM Ware preferred). 9. Have basic knowledge of JAVA Development environment and its interaction with frameworks and experience debugging Distributed applications. 10. Must have basic understanding of SSL certificates in the Windows & Linux Server environments. 11. Must have basic understanding of domain name IP address relationship via web server/DNS server configuration. 12. Experience with SQL Server 2005 and 2008 or Oracle RDMS administration is preferred. 13. Customer service and team oriented focus is required. 14. Ability to work on multiple project efforts at the same time is required. 15. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills 16.
