*SAP BOBJ Developer with HANA*

*Location: Central IL (Need local only)*

*Duration: Long-term*

*Rate: $65/Hr*



The main function of a SAP BOBJ Developer is to apply technical expertise
in SAP Business Objects technology to solve business information dashboard
and reporting requirements.

*Job Responsibilities: *

·         Collaborate with process partner organizations to gain an
in-depth understanding of their business information reporting
requirements.

·         Work with HANA data modelers to define data model requirements to
support report requirements.

·         Utilize HANA Data models to design, document, develop, test and
implement BOBJ reports to meet the business requirements.

·         Create technical documentation for new report objects.

·         Ability to develop dashboard or reports using the most
appropriate BOBJ 4.1 tools including Design Studio, WEBI, Crystal
Enterprise, Analysis for Office and Lumira.

·         Investigate and propose BOBJ technology solutions to meet
business information reporting needs.

·         Actively participate in support pack installations and upgrades
of BOBJ tools. Partner with Reporting Power Users to understand their
reporting requirements and provide assistance when necessary.

 *Education/Experience: *

·         Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science,
computer engineering or related field required.

·         3+ years of experience in above mentioned SAP skills is required.

·         At least 2 BOBJ 4.1 projects with preferred at least one project
utilizing HANA data models as source.



*Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: *

·         business/systems analysis, requirements gathering, functional
specification authoring, development, testing and implementation.

·         Expert ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as
needed to resolve issues.

·         Expert level developer of SAP Business Objects 4.1 including:
Design Studio, WebI and IDT, Crystal Enterprise, Crystal 2013, Analysis for
Office and Lumira. Ability to rapidly define requirements and build proof
of concept dashboards and reports.



*Skills: *

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem
solving and analytical skills.

·         Good interpersonal skills.

·         Good knowledge of SQL.

·         Good planning and organization skills.

·         Ability to work and share knowledge in a team environment with
remote team members.

·         Ability to work with minimal management input.
