*Position: PL/SQL Developer* *Location: Sterling, VA* *Duration: Long Term* *Job Duties and Responsibilities:* · Develop PL/SQL code Data Access Layers for use by client applications · Work closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation · Support refactoring of existing database schemas to support consolidation roadmap · Work with senior architects to understand new designs · Provide post implementation and on-going production support · Manage reference data stored in Oracle DBs *Skills and Qualifications:* · Minimum 9+ years of IT experience · Strong PL/SQL skills · Five (5) or more years experiences in Oracle database development, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of PL/SQL · Develop Oracle PL/SQL data structures, efficient queries, custom reports and applications to automate business processes · Experience writing advanced SQL queries, PL/SQL Stored procedures, Functions & Packages · Develop, execute, and manage Oracle PL/SQL as well as T-SQL stored program units such as a procedures, functions, packages and database triggers · Proficiency in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) · Ability to help create and map business needs/application requirements to technical solution · Self-starter who takes initiative to find a solution to a business problem · Must be flexible to work in a highly dynamic environment · Excellent communication skills - must be able to quickly communicate the key message at the appropriate level for the audience.
