Please go through the requirement below and let me know if you are comfortable with the same: *Tripwire Engineer* *Location:** New York, NY* *Duration:** 6+ Month Contract* The work is embedded into a bigger program to roll-out Tripwire to all assets within our client. Solaris, Linux, an Windows are about to finish; the next step is to roll-out to databases and to decommission legacy tools that monitor compliance. The Engineer will be responsible to package agents for databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQLServer) and to develop checks for database releases following the security baselines of our client. *The Role Involves:* The initial step is to package Tripwire for the latest Oracle version, and to develop all compliance checks to monitor the baseline security standards for databases. Integration into Tripwire console and governance processes are not in scope (they already have been developed for operating systems). Objective is to go live in 2015 with full compliance monitoring based on Tripwire. In a second step, Tripwire is rolled out to SYBASE; SQLServer, and legacy database releases. Depending on funding in 2016, the engagement would ideally extend into next year. *Qualifications:* The candidate must have experience with Tripwire for databases and must have a decent knowledge of Linux and SQL to package the agent and implement the checks.
