*Position:       QA Lead (with Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS))*

*Location:       Cherry Hill, NJ*

*Duration:       6 Months*



Job Description:

Required experience

• A must – 3+ years of recent experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS)

• Excellent communication Skill

• 8+ years of testing experience to manage mid to large sized projects

• 4 years as QA lead responsible for managing offshore teams

• 4-6 years of experience in consulting environment. Preferably in one of
the large consulting companies with well-defined QA processes

• Hands on experience to understand requirement, develop test plans, test
cases

• Manage QA processes and team using metrics

• Cleary understands and drives defect lifecycle

• Excellent communication skills to deliver projects using onshore and
offshore teams



PLUS

Ø  Experience with Oracle application test suite (OATS)

Ø  Automation experience



Role Description:



Responsibilities

• Requirement analysis and project intake management

Ø  Perform analysis on requirements, ask for clarifications

Ø  Provide high level estimate for planning purpose

Ø  Record intake information in JIRA and keep it updated

Ø  Explain requirements to offshore QA team and ensure that team
understands functionality and testing scope in detail

Ø  Ensure offsite QA participation in requirements review

Ø  Ensure clear understanding of project scope and requirements scope for
offshore team

• Develop Test Design

Ø  Develop test strategy and design (test plans)

Ø  Explain and transfer knowledge of test design to the offshore team for
test case creations and test execution

Ø  Work with PM and BA to get approval of test design, test plan, test cases

Ø  Load test cases in test management tool

• Execution

Ø  Ensure team is doing execution as per design

Ø  If required perform execution of scripts, validate fixes and support
production issues

• Ensure the quality of deliverables to client

Ø  Review and ensure accuracy and technical soundness of documentation
provided by team before sending it back to client

Ø  Test delivered code to ensure it meets the business requirement

Ø  Validate test execution results provided by offshore team (if required)

• Managing & Reporting

Ø  Assign work to team members on daily basis, check progress, fix any
issues and escalations

Ø  Manage team capacity based on demand

Ø  Create and distribute weekly, and monthly testing reports.

Ø  Distribute the reports to respective Manager

Ø  Identify Risks in each of the projects and communicate clearly in weekly
report

Ø  Escalate any issues that inhibit proper testing

Ø  Attend required meetings as required

Ø  Listen to team members' feedback and recommendations and share with
Subaru as appropriate

Ø  Help prepare for test bed and test data

• Process

Ø  Ensure established QA processes are followed

Ø  Load test cases in OATS for execution and develop reports in OATS for
general and regular distribution

Ø  Take ownership of the defects life cycle

Ø  Co-ordinate teams for test environment, test data

Ø  Arrange triage meetings as needed

Ø  Manage QA team’s output

Ø  Arrange required process for intake of the project and help QA team to
get required dates

Ø  Formal internal weekly meeting with QA lead and offsite QA team

Ø  Support QA for getting proper requirements and resolve issues RCL
