Please share suitable profiles to [email protected] *Role:- Lead Business Analyst * *Duration:**- ** 6+ Months* *Location:**- ** Lincoln, NE* *Description:* The Business Analyst will be working both directly with end users and with the application development team. Job activities include gathering requirements, facilitating meetings, application testing, assisting with training/roll-out, and on-going end user application support. The Business Analyst position will translate requirements into high-level design specs and logical/physical data models. Most work will be with enhancements to existing applications as well as ‘migrations’ of smaller application from within CTS to the NICaMS platform. *General Requirements:* The business analyst will, under general supervision: · Perform business process analysis and design · Provide systems support for large, complex, enterprise projects and applications · Serves as a liaison between the business clients and applications developers. · Perform related work as assigned. *Required Skills:* * *Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Lead Business Analyst working with large, complex, enterprise–scale systems*. * Must have experience in facilitating requirements gathering sessions and in documenting and publishing the results. * Must have experience in converting requirements into system specifications. * Must have experience in analyzing and documenting existing business processes and proposing modified or new business improvements. * Must have experience in communicating with management, clients, and application developers about the business requirements and in developing business process solutions. * Must have experience in creating and maintaining business training and support material. * Must have experience in testing for business applications; writing test plans, test case scenarios, executing tests and documenting results. * Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Visio, Access and SharePoint. * Must have an understanding of the application development life-cycle and current methodologies. * Must have an understanding of Data/Process Modeling, SQL, relational databases and use of commonly used modeling and query tools. *Preferred* * Preferred experience working with State government applications, particularly working with Department of Corrections related projects. * Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study. * Preferred experience, at least at a high-level, with application development in a Java/.net/web development environment. * Preferred knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Clarity, Open Workbench or similar products.
