*C2c rate: $55/hr* Facets Developer Overview: The senior application developer’s role is to design, code, test, and analyze software programs additionally this role will be required to mentor and help architect system design through coordination with the business and IT. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. The senior application developer will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required. Additionally this role will help coordinate work between management, Project managers to assist in presenting technical solutions to the organization. Top 3 Skills Required: Facets Data Knowledge SQL ETL (SSIS) Facets Developer Job Responsibilities: Mentor other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications. Plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects. Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications. Research and document requirements of software users. Assist and contribute to the Architectural Council on all software solutions designed or purchased. Assist PM and other groups coordinate developers and projects to completion. Clarify and drive team goals on a technical level making sure that the solutions proposed and designed are in line with the department and vision. Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts. Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades. Assist the Architectural Council with technical knowledge regarding emerging technologies to help drive strategy. Assist management with resource and release planning. Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications. Define architecture and design for enterprise applications. Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas. Lead projects from a development standpoint and coordinate activities with the developer teams as needed. Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines. Assist in software deployment as required based on build specification. Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems. Manage and/or provide guidance to junior and mid-level software developers and research assistants. Perform technical code reviews of peers to ensure that proper coding methodology is being adhered to.
