*Location: Plano, TX Duration: 6+ months Job Description:*

The Web Hosting team provides on-site and on-call support to users within
various business units (including Equities, FICC, IBD, Operations and
Control IT, and Prime Brokerage) in multiple regions: London, North
America, Zurich and Asia/Pacific.

This team's core duties involve monitoring, configuration and maintenance
of the Webhosting Infrastructure, 3rd level escalation (1st and 2nd Level
support is 24x7 off-shore) and 3rd level support/maintenance/consultancy to
Business Application IT teams for the Web products on offer. Other duties
include capacity & Lifecycle management.

*Roles & Responsibilities:*

Infrastructure Support Analysts support the Enterprise Web Hosting
infrastructure on a day-to-day basis. The role reports into the Regional
Operations Manager.

·         Expert in Websphere, Apache and Tomcat technologies

·         Implementation of WebSphere, TomCat and Apache builds

·         Manage the Apache, Tomcat and Websphere hosting infrastructure

·         Work with application teams to assist them in the roll out of new
java applications

·         Advise clients on application architecture, infrastructure
standards and procedures

·         Incident, problem and change management activities

·         L3 production support

·         Liaise with the engineering team for 3rd line support and
escalation to vendors

·         DMZ web and network infrastructure management


*Minimum or Basic Requirements:*

·         Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server (or similar JEE related
product), Apache and Tomcat

·         Understanding of Java and JEE concepts

·         UNIX (Solaris/Linux) skills

·         The capacity to quickly grasp an in-depth understanding of
application functionality, basic concepts and methodologies of systems.

·         Knowledge of Clustering/Load-balancing technologies.

·         Understanding of TCP/IP, networking, firewalls, PKI, LDAP and
database connectivity.

·         Knowledge of Java performance tools, such as Wily IntroScope,
JProbe etc

·         An aptitude for analytical thinking and logical problem solving.

·         Experience in a technical support role.

·         Excellent Communication skills.

·         Understanding of ITIL procedures

·         Ability to work autonomously, maintain professionalism and work
under tight deadlines


*Additional/Preferred Requirements:* The ability to understand/write shell
scripts
