Good knowledge of SQL. 4. Demonstrably solid software engineering skills and willingness to learn new technologies. 5. Experience with version control-systems (e.g. SVN, etc.). 6. Experience with build tools such as Maven or Ant 7. Self-motivated, result oriented with strong analytical skills. Good at problem solving. 8. Working experience in testing or implementation of N-tier applications. 9. Working on large projects / programs. 10. Basic knowledge of Unix and Shell Scripting. 11. Graduate degree is a prerequisite, preferably in Computer Science/Engineering. 12. Good spoken and written communication skills. Nice to have: 1. 1+ year in the financial industry (ideally, focused on equity trading). 2.
