Role : DB2 DBA Admin (GC/CITIZEN) Location : New York City, NY Duration :6+Months Contract Start :ASAP *Required Skills/Background:* · 8 -10 years DB2 UDB LUW (Linux/Unix/Windows) · UDB DBA on Linux · Understands UDB inside out · Knows Replication · Can support UDB with a third party application (MDM Solution) · Can get under the covers with transaction logs, execution plans etc. · Know monitoring very well along with Cluster, load balancing, indexes, etc · Design, implement and maintain a database infrastructure ensuring optimal performance, availability and integrity of database services. · Knowledge and experience in writing scripts (Shell & Perl) a plus. · Understands stored procedures, SQL, SQL queries and performance optimization. · Experienced in performance, tuning and optimization analysis, troubleshooting practices and procedures. · Distributed platform expertise. · Strong communications skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Financial Services industry experience. · Wealth Management Expertise preferred.
