*Job Description:*



•             Proficient with installation, management, and support of
Windows 2003, 2008 and Linux servers including security practices and patch
management.

•             Experience with HP, Dell and other server hardware platforms.

•             Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP and DNS.

•             Experience administering and maintaining Exchange 2007 & 2010
servers, Office 365 experience a plus

•             Proficient with Vmware, NetApp, Cisco, F5 and other
enterprise hardware

•             Experience with Router skillset, terminal servers

•             Experience in PowerShell, VB script or other batch scripting
technologies

•             Must have hands on experience in Symantec Backup Exec
products and familiarity with tape backup hardware such as auto-loading
tape libraries and disk based backup

              methods.

•             Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2008 R2.

•             Knowledge of SQL reporting and query tools and practices

•             Understanding of, and experience with, server-client
computing and relational database environments

•             Database tuning, management, security and backup and recovery
strategy

•             Strong problem-solving and analysis skills are required

•             Ability to analyze a problem at a system level and determine
the root cause at a technical detail level

•             The candidate needs to be open to learning and supporting new
applications
