The .NET Technical Lead will be responsible for overall delivery of development projects. Projects will vary in size and scope. This person will be involved in all facets of the SDLC. In addition this person will take ownership of a group of applications, ensuring their quality as they change over time and steering their direction. This person will have excellent communication skills and a passion to get things done. 60% of the time this .net lead will be coding- .net and winforms expertise needed 20% architecting 20% mentoring and coaching the new way! This developer MUST have Test Driven Development (TDD experience) Automation and continuous integration experience is needed! Description: • Lead projects of various size and scope through the entire SDLC • Ensure on-time delivery • Work with customers to refine requirements • Provide simple, well thought designs for new applications and enhancements to existing applications • Write code to meet customer requirements • Perform Unit testing and first-level integration testing • Support the QA team as needed during the SDLC • Support Defect Resolution • Oversee releases, ensuring all developers on the project team have designed, coded, and documented accordingly • Set and meet rational timelines and deadlines • Adapt quickly to a changing environment • Take ownership of applications and steer their direction • Expand knowledge by exploring new technologies • Expand beyond .NET to other technologies. • Periodic 24x7 on call production support minimum requirements • Must be a self-starter and quick learner Requirements: • 6+ years’ of full life-cycle and iterative development in an enterprise environment • 3+ years’ experience developing with C# and the .Net Framework • 3+ years’ object-oriented analysis and design • 2+ years’ experience with ASP.NET and ADO.NET • 1+ years’ experience with .NET Windows Forms Applications • Well versed in RDBMS technology: Oracle 9i, SQL Server • Excellent oral and written communications skills • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills • Excellent organizational and planning skills • Excellent analytical skills to develop simple systems solution to meet business needs • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Resolve to get the job done in a fast paced, dynamic environment • Ability to set and meet rational timelines and deadlines • Willingness to expand beyond .NET to other technologies.
