Position: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Englewood, CO

Duration: 6+ months contract





Job Duties and Responsibilities



Note: Experience in chef is mandatory



AWS, Chef, Cloud Foundry and or System admin skills





Primary responsibilities include the following areas:

·         Strong desire to learn new things & continually improve yourself
and your team with a

can do anything mentality.

·         Working with the Dish Community to implement a Continuous
Integration / Continuous

Deployment environment that will work in this large, complex environment.

·         Becoming a DevOps Champion to help push the required culture
changes throughout

the organization.



Skills, Experience and Requirements

A successful Senior DevOps Engineer will have:

·         4 year college degree or equivalent experience, Bachelor of
Science preferred and 6+ years of professional development experience,
master’s degree is a nice to have

·         Java / object oriented, pattern based enterprise development
experience.

·         Experience with the micro services architecture

·         Agile Development Experience, SAFe Framework is a nice to have

·         Chef, Docker, Vagrant, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar Qube, Git,
Maven, Spock, Amazon

Web Services (AWS), Open Stack, VMWare, Maven, Gradle, Jira, Kibana and/or
Elastic

Search are all nice to haves
