2.Immediate Need - Windows Systems Administrator – Contract
Windows Systems Administrator
Location: St. Paul, MN
Duration: 6+months
The client prefers local but open to non local as well. Skype is possible.
*Position Summary*
Immediate opening for a contract *Windows Systems Administrator*! This will
be a 6+month contract position.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 8 years demonstrated in-depth
knowledge of *Windows OS 2002/2012 *and *Windows Servers 2003, 2008* and
*2012*. Experience moving, installing and providing analysis on
third-party applications on Windows platforms will also be required. The
position is part of a larger Windows modernization project.
In addition knowledge of relevant Microsoft technologies including,
*clustering,
load balancing, patching, database security* and *policy control*, system
maintenance plans. *MS IIS 6* and higher is also highly preferred.
Ideally, someone who has *SQL DBA* skills with *DBA/Infrastructure* background
utilizing the *HA/DR *capabilities of SQL would be a strong candidate.
Understanding basic disc allocation concepts is very helpful.
