Job Details:
Tableau Developer with STRONG SQL skills Primary responsibilities for the
position will likely include:
- Building Tableau reports and data sources at varying levels of complexity
- Development and maintenance of SQL queries, views, and other elements for
reporting
- Providing support and a point of first contact for users working with our
team’s reports
- Working directly with senior program stakeholders and business leads to:
¬ Analyze business process and data workflow
¬ Determine reporting needs and end-user requirements
¬ Triage and interpret existing processes (both ad-hoc and
industrialized)
¬ Identify new opportunities to reduce overhead and improve efficiency
at WFS
- Collaborating with various Technology stakeholders to:
¬ Meet bankwide policy and best practices when building new platforms
or tools
¬ Represent the reporting team in prioritization and planning
discussions
¬ Lobby for accommodations to improve reporting ability
¬ Expedite requests and changes within other groups as needed
- Translating user stories and requests into actual business cases and
delivery requirements
Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor
and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or
application initiatives. Utilizes a thorough understanding of available
technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on the most complex
problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of
intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation
point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Leads
most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Acts as
expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development,
testing, and implementation process.: 10+ years application development and
implementation experience.
