*Required Skills*
· Performance monitoring and tuning
· Code Releases
· SQL Servers Upgrades/Migrations/Decommissions/Patching
· Database creation/migrations/backups/restores
· Architecture of MS SQL Server 2005/2008.
· Configuring and Troubleshooting Cluster environment
· Installing and Configuring of MS SQL
· Patch installation / Roll Back .
· Worked in Database Migration
· Candidates having Database Administrators certification will be
preferred
· Must have experience of managing high transaction databases in
clustered environment (more than 6000 transaction per second)
· Excellent communication skills are must
· Setup and Configuration (Clustered environment)
· Recoverability & Integrity
*Desirable*
· Query Tuning/Execution Plans - should be completely comfortable
browsing a query execution plan and understand how to use it to identify
opportunities for optimisation
· Concurrency/Row Versioning - understanding of potential lock
escalations, deadlocks, isolation levels etc is vital.
· CLR
· TSQL
