Please do share me your hotlist also at *[email protected]* <[email protected]> *SQL Database Engineer * *Lakewood, CO* *1 year plus* *Phone then in person(F2F)* *Skills/Experience Required:* - 5 to 10 years of experience working with Sybase and other multiple RDBMS Platform with combination of working experience in at least two of the skills in MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, or PostGres.* However, candidate must have following as primary skill set: MS SQL.* - Must have excellent knowledge and implementing Database Security. Prefer having candidate with working experience using DB Network, Imperva Dam, or similar DB Security Appliance. - Must have working knowledge in Database Monitoring tools such as Fog Light, Ignite, Oracle OEM, MySQL Work Bench, or similar tools. - Strong Knowledge of Performance & Tuning of SQL and Database Server. - Strong Knowledge in ETL. - Working knowledge in AWS environment. - Strong working knowledge/exposure to Big Data Environment (PB++ data). - Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux Operations System. - Strong working knowledge of scripting language in any of the following skill sets in Windows Power Shell, Linux/Unix Shell script, Perl, or Python - Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other related technical discipline is preferred. - Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile development methodology - Ability to understand business drivers and customer needs - Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with many stakeholders - Strong writing skills to create necessary development documentation - Ability to communicate technical information in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to broad ranges of audiences - Initiative, dependability, cooperation and thoroughness in a team environment - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Professional attitude with ability to prioritize work, multi-task, flex between changing priorities, and strong time management is critical in our rapidly changing environment - Passion for learning and keeping up with emerging technologies / industry trends and applying them as necessary *Skills/Experience Desired:* - Prefer candidate having skill sets in Hadoop, RedShift, MongoDB, or Couch DB - Would be great if candidate have In-Memory Database experience such as Times Ten, MemSQL, or VoltDB but not necessary. *Candidate Must be willing to :* - Participate in Production Support.
