*Rate - $50/hr C2C * *Location - Charlotte, NC* *Only GC, EAD GC and USC* Description - Sr. Ab Initio Developer Here are the job duties and requirements. Candidate must be able to: Design and develop scalable AbInitio ETL solutions to support data warehousing applications hosted on Teradata platform. Design, develop, test, and implement AbInitio graphs/plans, Teradata databases, and Autosys JILS. Ensure proper AbInitio best practices and standards are followed in development. Work with business analysts to understand functional requirements and develop technical solutions. Propose creative solutions to meet technical and business priorities. Follow proper software development lifecycle processes and standards. Provide guidance to other team members. Manage communications and relationship with customers. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of hands –on application development experience using AbInitio is required. 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in analyzing requirements and designing database solutions using Ab Initio and Teradata/DB2/Oracle RDBMS is required. Advanced level understanding of complex Ab Initio routines and Teradata database designs is required. Experience working with ETL layers using AbInitio. Experience in analyzing and resolving complex AbInitio graphs and technical data issues. Experience working with UNIX/LINUX platforms and Autosys Scheduler. Experience completing data warehouse/data marts design reviews and evaluations to ensure that standards and best practices are being adhered to and meet the requirements. Experience developing processes and procedures for managing large or complex Teradata databases to ensure their availability, integrity, and security. Demonstrated ability to work independently to complete multiple, concurrent tasks on schedule. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
