As a member of the Technical Operations team, the successful candidate will
work closely with all of Engineering and Operations to assure the
successful delivery of our Infrastructure, Network & Security, Database
Operations, and Engineering Operations teams.

The Technical Delivery Manager will liaise between business, engineering,
and operations to translate business and engineering requirements into
technical requirements and to shepherd them into running production
services. Assist with the prioritization of work and projects to assure
timely delivery of work streams.



Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will:

·         Provide Project Management leadership, expertise, and support for
the Comcast Identity Management team across multiple areas of focus.

·         Be the Liason between business, engineering and operation

·         Manage project through the project phase deliverables associated
with the project’s initiation, planning, execution and deployment/closing

·         Identify and manage project risks and create associated
mitigation plans

·         Manage project issues log to initiate, track and record the
resolution of project issues

·         Ensure project milestones and deliverables are accomplished

·         Facilitate and lead project related meetings to obtain and
communicate project progress, accomplishments, near term
tasks/deliverables, issues, etc.

·         Develop a weekly status report to communicate project status to
upper management

·         have deep technical knowledge in multiple areas of technology:
hardware, operating systems, networking, application software

·         understand and work in an agile environment

·         have a deep understanding of operational environments and
delivery stages from development to QA to production

·         be able to communicate technical details to non-technical
audiences

·         be able to translate business requirements into technical
requirements

·         have excellent organization and communication skills

·         track and assure the delivery of multiple concurrent work streams

·         through keen oversight and good communications help overcome
obstacles to on-time delivery

·         ability to identify risks to delivery; effectively communicate
risk to stakeholders

·         Ability to resolve issues (eliminate roadblocks for team to
enable delivery)



Education and experience required:

·         Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

·         Engineering, Computer Science

·         Generally requires 6-9 years related experience



Additional Requirements

·         5+ years of experience in fast-paced software development
environments (web and mobile)

·         Strong background and work experience in Operations or Project
Management for technology companies

·         Excellent computer skills and proficient in standard Office
applications

·         Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

·         Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and
operations management

·         Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and
major projects or initiatives.

·         Experience with Agile as well as other styles of project
management

·         Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management
style.

·         A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
and a diverse workplace

·         Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done

·         Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the
organization.

·         Ability to look at situations from several points of view

·         Persuasive with details and facts
