*6 months* *ONLY LOCALS* Need a strong application packager with experience preferably in XenApp/XenDesktop, but strong application packaging in SCCM or App-V, along with associated scripting experience is what is needed. an Application Packager to package desktop software applications for delivery to end users. Position Responsibilities: Research and prepare applications for deployment via Microsoft SCCM Research and prepare applications for delivery via Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop Package in-house developed and commercial type applications using Flexera AdminStudio and InstallShield packaging software following an established process and workflow Re-package desktop applications, upgrades, and utility software Work with development and system subject matter experts (SME) to automate application installation Create, edit, and update process and technical support documentation Adhere to existing processes and procedures, best practices, and work instructions Provide 3rd tier/advanced technical support related to desktop technologies Understand the IT working environment sufficiently to explain technical issues and solutions to a wide range of technical and non-technical clients Job Requirements: 3 - 5 years of Computer Technology experience or directly-related field is required 1+ years of experience with Powershell (or equivalent scripting tool) is required 2+ year of experience building .msi packages and delivering applications via Microsoft SCCM is required 1+ years of experience with application packaging in the Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop arena Knowledge of and Skill in Applying:◦Packaging desktop software applications into .msi format for delivery using a centralized software distribution system (Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager) Preparing desktop software applications for delivery via Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop Resolving application packaging, sequencing, and delivery issues Conducting thorough Quality Assurance (QA) testing Oral and written communication skills sufficient to convey technical advice and information to clients and coworkers who have varying degrees of ability with Information Technology High level of organizational abilities and multi-tasking Excellent customer service and communication skills *Thanks and Regards* *Shweta Ojha* Sr. Technical Recruiter | Sage Group Consulting *Direct: *732-784-6492 *Email: *[email protected] *Gtalk: *sojha1290*|Ymail: *ojha1290 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
