*Position: Network Engineer* *Location:** Lincolnshire, IL* *Duration: 6+ Months* - · Must Have CCNA,CCNP and Preferabaly CCIE on Routing and Switching Strong communication and presentation skills Perform Network Backups & Restore Manage, assign, and maintain the list of network addresses. - · Upgrade, manage, and maintain VPN concentrators, routers, and other Network equipment. Strong knowledge and expertise in local and wide area networking communications. - · Experience in Network switches, router and firewall installation, configuration and Administration Must possess strong understanding of switching principles and protocols including, VLAN, STP, VTP, ISL, 802.1Q, Ether channel. - · Strong knowledge in routing and switching protocol BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS Strong knowledge of LAN technologies Knowledge of WAN and LAN architectures, MPLS, ATM, OC3, T1, E1, DS3, E3 and MPLS. - · Must possess strong understanding of packet analysis tools and be proficient at reading network packet streams Must possess good hardware, network operating systems and troubleshooting skills Must be familiar with network events monitoring and log management tools; Solar Winds Orion and Wire shark and other Open Source Tools. - · Setup and provide support for VPN communications (IPSEC and SSL) Willingness to provide on call support for critical production issues Handson support of production network and voice, and take ownership of all network and voice documentation initiatives. - · Excellent Troubleshooting skills Plans, designs and implements networked systems, including configurations, and supports/troubleshoots network problems. - · Have Experience in Riverbed , Internet Proxy Experience in Nexus Switches CISCO analysis and design in IP Telephony system administration, configuration and implementation. - · Daily maintenance of voice and network infrastructure to include LAN, MAN, WAN, WiFi, VOIP, Troubleshoot work orders for voice, data networks and related network infrastructure devices at all levels. - · Review data monitoring and network utilization stats. Consultative leadership abilities to identify the best solution for customers. Provide consistent reporting on tasks accomplished and project progress/challenges.
