*Skills (Catalog): * - SAN Assessment Assess/Plan/Strategize - SB - VMAX Consulting - Symmetrix VMAX3 eNAS Administer - Symmetrix VMAX3 eNAS Design - VNX File Migration Design - VNX Block Migration Design - Symmetrix DMX VMAX Data Migration Troubleshooting *Storage Residents:* - *Will* support the clients Implementation, Planning & Design efforts of the Data Center Migration, as well as, the day to day operational support of the EMC SAN/NAS environment, work with the PMO and Project Management Teams to create technical Change Management & Project Planning documentation to support the DCM, and support the execution of the power down and power up of the equipment and the quality assurance that the SAN has been successfully moved. Will proactively open cases with EMC Support in advance of the move to make sure EMC Support can be leveraged if necessary. - Sharing ownership of operational responsibility for storage provisioning and availability at the client site(s) with the Client Storage Manager. - Provisioning storage based on standardized procedures detailed in the Operational Run Book and meeting Client agreed upon standards. - Configuration and layout of storage infrastructure. - Planning, coordinating, and responsibility for the execution of the business continuance and disaster recovery plans as agreed upon by EMC and customer. - Participating in the design and operational execution of the client's storage disaster recovery process, as required. - Performing necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with EMC and client change management policies. - Performing necessary data migration as required and defined by EMC's migration practices. - Performance tuning in the environment when needed.
