*Duration: Long Term* *Daily Rate: Up to $600/day C2C* *FACE 2 FACE* Role Description: The consultant will actively participate in development and modification of ETL code, for Finance Rules Engine data flows; which will be impacted as a result of onboarding of new Equities Settlement platform. This role will also be tasked with working with offshore ETL resources to deliver a quality software code. General Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with total of 10+ years of experience Knowledge of the securities brokerage business, preferably in finance/accounting. Working Knowledge of PeopleSoft General Ledger (GL) module would be a plus. Required Technical Skills: 6+ years as Informatica developer 6+ years as Oracle or equivalent database experience Proficiency in Unix shell scripting Proficiency in SQL scripting Experience with Autosys or other scheduling software Experience with Performance tuning Development of Test plan, Test scripts and Test documentation for user review and sign off Assist team lead in executing the project plan and meeting due dates Assist team lead and/or own release management of the systems developed Create support documents for Level 1 support team Fully versed with SDLC process including agile methodology Desired Skills: Good understanding of XML and Messaging systems. Knowledge of Client BPS platform is highly desirable Qualities: The candidate should be good team player and have a positive outlook, with the personality to work with the development committee as well as present to business or IT senior managers as required.
