The QA Analyst is responsible for applying specific skills and experience to ensure that AN software meet the stated objectives, requirements, and specifications expected by customers. QA related activities include front end, back end, performance, and regression testing of various software Primary Job Responsibilities: • Evaluate and test software to verify functioning according to specifications and requirements. • Validate that software meets established and reasonable performance guidelines. • Write, review, revise, and verify quality-standards and test procedures. • Participate in review of standards, procedures, tools, and process. • Prepare and develop test plans and test cases. • Execute the test cases and document the test results. • Work collaboratively with others to resolve issues and defects. • Create and analyze test data. • Participate in scrum meetings with developers and product owners. Minimum Qualifications: • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and business partners • Capable of working under deadlines with minimal supervision. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field. • Positive attitude. • Minimum 5 years software testing experience. • Knowledgeable in testing concepts, tools and methodologies. • SQL experience required to write queries for database validation. • Familiarity with .NET and Microsoft Team Foundation Server • Ability to work in a team environment. • Experience testing websites using a number of browsers (Firefox, IE, Google, etc). Candidates should be familiar with manual testing of functional, black box, GUI, unit, system integration and regression. • Demonstrated ability aptitude in logical and analytical thinking Preferred Qualifications: • Prior programming work experience. • Experience working with automated testing tool. • Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business direction. • Automotive industry experience.
