*QA Tester*
*Summary* The position is responsible for the successful testing of software releases for projects that will be implemented into the production environment. The position reports to the Manager of Information Technology responsible for Enterprise Testing. Responsibilities include analysis, test plan and test case development, test case execution, defect tracking and reporting. *Positions* · CC&B - Customer Care and Billing, A\R, Collections, Service Orders [4521112] · Plant - understanding of Plant based applications [4521117] · ASR's -M6, VFO, Remedy, EP, ESB knowledge is preferred. CABS expertise in BDT output is desirable, in order to test ASR line items and verify bill images [4521515] *Requirements* · Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team. · Ability to work under minimal direction. · Demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise documentation. · Minimum 5 years of testing experience. · Experience with Testing Software - HP ALM or equivalent, AS400, MS/ SQL Queries, MS/Word, MS/Excel. · Understanding of various operating systems and software applications / platforms such as Windows, UNIX, Linux with different types of applications running on MS .Net, Java, and related web application framework. · Expertise in analyzing requirements and writing/modifying existing test cases. · Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Testing Methodologies. · Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team. Ability to work under minimal direction. · A thorough understanding of project management principles and software development lifecycle. · High-level understanding of various Business Processes and Process flows. · Ability to work in a fast pace environment. · Previous Telecom Testing a plus.
