Role : Scrum Master GC, GC –EAD, Citizen Location : Charlotte NC Duration : 6+Months Contract Interview :Phone +Skype Skills : · 2 years of experience with Agile/Scrum. · 5 years of experience in a technology environment, software development environment preferred. · Results oriented approach with an eye toward “getting the details right”. · A Scrum Master certification, highly preferred. · Solid understanding of iterative development and incremental software delivery. · Servant leader with excellent communications skills. *Nice to have:* · Experience with Jira/Confluence. · Experience working with Virtualization technologies and architectures. · Experience developing applications in PHP, Java or other Object Oriented based languages. · Knowledge of PHP, AngularJS, AJAX, MySQL or PostGres, Linux and javascript. · Understanding of OOP (Object Oriented Programming). *Key Responsibilities:* · Serve as a Scrum Master for the development team. · Clear obstacles and develop a high performing team. · Provide daily hands-on support to the team. · Guide the team on how to use Agile practices and values to deliver projects faster. · Facilitate sprint planning, and coordinate retrospectives and demos. · Ensure cross-functional collaboration is occurring early and often. Lead daily stand-ups, resolve conflict, and remove impediments. · Maintain and publish agile metrics. · Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. · Flexible to take on additional duties that may not be directly related to the position.
