Hello, Kindly check out the below requirement and let me know if you are comfortable with the same *Job Title: Performance engineer Location: Southborough, MA Duration: 6 months * *Description:* Our client in Southboro, MA is looking for a Senior Performance Engineer to oversee Automation Engineers, validate test scripts and scenarios, and insure proper test execution. This role will have minimal development work (although the candidate should have solid development experience) and will primarily be analyzing performance issues, identifying the source of the issue and escalating to the proper development team to fix. The right candidate will have experience with middleware (preferably Jboss or Weblogic), Microsoft IAS and Linux on Windows on Microsoft Virtual Infrastructure along with solid Oracle Skills. Job Duties: - Perform Validation of environment (Database, Middleware and Infrastructure). - Conduct Pre-planning tasks needed for monitoring/metric collection. - Perform results analysis, and make recommendations and present to stakeholders. - Facilitation of test completion, handoff of results to app team, and signoffs. - Conduct load testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability. - Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes. - Generate test summary reports for management review. - Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions. - Develop automated test scenarios and environments for performance testing. Required Skills: - Experience with Load Runner - Extensive knowledge in Middleware, Database and Infrastructure. - Troubleshooting skills to resolve complex performance issues. - Ability to release & diagnosis Middleware (JVM, Weblogic, JBoss, IIS, etc.), database (Oracle, MSSQL, etc.), Operating system (Linux, Windows) on Virtual Infrastructure. - Performance Tuning transaction and improve response times. - Coordinate with Senior Developer, Database Administrator, Middleware and Infrastructure Admins for Root Cause Analysis. - Perforn health check of Application and Platform for resolving critical issues in Mission Critical Platforms. - Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills Thank you for your time.
