*Please share GC/US Citizen Only* *Senior Storage Engineer* *6+ Months Contract * *Plano, TX/Chicago, IL* We primarily need a Senior Storage person with the following mandatory skills – SAN Hitachi VMAX EMC *Job Description: * Principle Storage Administrator for Enterprise Storage team with a focus on support on the enterprise SAN and NAS storage infrastructure. *Qualifications: * 6years IT experience 4 years Storage technical support experience 6+ years Senior Support Administrator level experience with industry standard SAN and NAS based solutions, example EMC VMAX, Hitachi VSP NetApp and Isilon filers. 2 + years of SAN fabric and storage infrastructure experience are preferable. Examples (Cisco MDS and Brocade fiber and EMC VMAX) Scripting (Perl, Shell etc.) and Automation skills with a drive to optimize infrastructure/processes and increase efficiencies Requires expertise with the design, configuration, and administration, tuning, optimizing and troubleshooting for SAN and NAS related NFS/CIFS protocol on NetApp and EMC Isilon storage arrays. Implement, maintain, monitor, performance tuning and upgrade SAN and NAS environment. Duties include managing CIFS/NFS shares, maintaining user and group’s quotas, MS Windows and UNIX permissions, and providing monthly usage reports. Familiarity with EMC Celerra and Centera products is a plus. Lifecycle management on a large scale of all Storage technologies including upgrades, deployments and performance tuning of standard SAN and NAS Storage Infrastructures.
