Executive Summary The South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority (“Authority”) is seeking an a senior level IT professional to assist in IT strategic planning, as well as coordinating and managing the information technology needs, requirements and activities of the agency. This person shall have the requisite knowledge, skills and expertise to perform the functions herein and to support the existing technical infrastructure of the agency. This person shall also have access to, on an as needed basis, other IT department personnel as appropriate to respond to specific agency technology needs, requirements and activities of the agency. This person shall work at the agency’s physical location an average of three (3) days per week during the term of this agreement and shall be available by telephone, e-mail, etc. at other times as needed by the agency. 2. Current Environment The Authority currently has a single office facility located at 300-C Outlet Pointe Boulevard, Columbia, SC 29210. From this facility, the Authority’s personnel administers each of its programs on a statewide basis. To support the Authority, there is an IT department consisting of six (6) professionals, two (2) document imaging clerks, and a department director.
