Hello, Kindly check out the below requirement and let me know if you are comfortable with the same *Job Title: Test/Validation Engineer* *Duration: 6 months* *Location: BILLERICA, MA -01821* Looking for candidates that have *embedded software testing experience*” *Role Summary/Purpose * The System Test & Validation Engineer will work in new product development and existing product sustaining/support as part of Fastworks team. The Engineer is expected to develop robust test solutions in short-cycle design environments, leveraging existing technologies, promoting standardization, reliability and process efficiency. *Essential Responsibilities* The System Test & Validation Engineer is involved in all aspects of product development ranging from system-level design and requirements analysis, through prototype generation and testing, to final design validation and documentation. In the role of System Test & Validation Engineer you will: Develop robust test automation systems integrating hardware, firmware and software Develop and run automatic as well as manual testing processes and procedures Work with sustaining and New Product engineering teams in development and execution of testing plans Drive and promote Standardization Understand products from customer’s perspective and test accordingly Drive quality into the development process, through analysis and feedback of testing results, working directly with the design teams *Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college Minimum of 2 year experience using C / C++ programming language or scripting languages like python etc *Desired Characteristics * High energy, results driven team-player with strong interpersonal skills and a quality mind-set Expertise and knowledge of test driven development concepts. Experience in embedded systems and or programming object oriented code. Experience using software debugging tools; emulators, debuggers, etc. Experience using hardware debugging tools; oscilloscopes, multi-meters, function generators, etc. Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex ideas to various audiences. Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements. Demonstrated skills in problem solving. Strong oral and written communication skills Fast learner with energy and enthusiasm.
