*Required and Preferred Skills and Competencies:*



   - *Software Engineering & Architectural Design*
      - Develop and Implement both the Exchange logical and physical
      architecture for the enterprise
      - Responsible for infrastructure capacity planning
      - Develop and maintain the Exchange Roadmap that integrates
      technology and business drivers, introduction and phasing out of
       technologies and products within a define technology life cycle
      - Identify business needs and lead efforts to satisfy those
      requirements requiring Exchange-based solutions
      - Partner with the development community to leverage Exchange
      capabilities while ensuring industry best practices and vendor
      recommendations are adhered to
      - Help Create, Document, and Maintain Exchange and Microsoft based
      solutions Governance, from both the Infrastructure perspective as well as
      the Engineering perspective
      - Ensure designs align with the Comerica enterprise standards and
      principles
      - Assist in analyzing vendor solutions and off the shelf
      applications.  Identify risks and benefits. Provide recommendations.
      - Ensure solutions satisfy requirements and integrate to form a
      cohesive system
      - Ensure solutions are sustainable, secure, scalable, and offer
      flexibility for future growth



   - *Project Execution                *
      - Lead upgrade from Exchange 2010 to the next version.  Install,
      test, and verify new Exchange 2013 farm and other MSFT technologies in
      non-production environments
      - Analyze the impact to the Comerica environment of enabling advanced
      Exchange services or other 3rd party solutions, and make
      recommendations to management
      - Enable and Configure Exchange services
      - Understand business requirements and recommend solutions and
      approaches within Exchange to fulfill those business requirements
      - Prioritize and rationalize work to Project Managers for critical
      project timelines
      - Lead the architectural and infrastructure components for moderately
      small to large, complex projects.
      - Coordinate with vendors for software installations, serve as focal
      point for technical issues
      - Provide technical development plans for assigned work breaking into
      manageable tasks and estimating effort.
      - Create cost estimates for application software solutions
      - Provide administrative and operational guidance in Exchange
      2010/2013
      - Assess risks and recommend enhancements
      - Communicate comfortably to Management and clients, understand and
      react to the urgency of their work.
