*Role: BMC Remedy Developer*

*Job Description:*

•         Remedy Developer to write code within the ARS system, perform
customization work (modification and enhancement).  The clients current
Version of Remedy is 8.1.

•         At least 5+ years’ experience working with BMC Remedy, with
strong ITSM, Midtier, SRM, ARS, SLM and CMDB knowledge

•         Experience required in the Services Management Suite, Service
Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Asset
Management, Change Management,                                Configuration
Management, Services Level Management, BMC Dashboard and Analytics and
experience

•         Fundamental knowledge of ITIL standards and how to apply ITIL
within Remedy.

•         Strong communication skills and a customer focused mindset.

•         Experience working with Remedy v7.6.04 a strong plus

•         Excellent interpersonal and client skills. Builds good working
relationships with projects, peers, staff, etc. Ability to work with
diverse groups across locations

•         Ability to analyze and resolve multiple complex problems, take
ownership and manage resolution of problems

•         Additional duties will include Incident support, troubleshooting
Remedy issues, and other project support as needed by the team.

•         Coordinates with client management to formulate complex technical
solutions. Informs client management of appropriate developments in
technical support products.

•         Evaluates products and upgrades for appropriateness. Oversees and
implements system upgrade strategies.

•         Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex
solutions. Coordinates activities with other technical personnel as
appropriate.

•         Develops and analyzes highly complex system standards,
thresholds, and recommendations to maximize system performance.

•         Conducts capacity planning reviews with management and approves
capacity plans formulated by less experienced personnel.

•         Develops strategies to manage the frequency of appropriate
support package/patch application. Monitors database maintenance and
provides appropriate recommendations, when required.

•         Coordinates with business development personnel on proposals and
work estimates involving highly comp




*Role: Sr. SQL DBA*

*Location: **Frisco, TX  **(NEED ONLY LOCALS WHO CAN GO FOR F2F)*

•         Display strong inter-personal, verbal and written communication
skills.

•         Provide advanced troubleshooting for applications and systems,
determining cause and effect.

•         Provide mentoring and leadership to fellow administrators, system
programmers and others..Act as lead and direct other resources in support
of project and operational activities.



*Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:*

•         Understand and apply advanced database administration, management
and performance tuning techniques.

•         Function as technical liaison for database related project
activities. Lead design and code reviews, define standards, recommend and
establish policies.

•         Evaluate hardware and software requirements and be able to
justify purchase decisions.

•         Configure and tune hardware and software to insure optimum
performance and resource utilization.



*Functional/Technical Skills (Must have’s):*

o   Be able to work with little or no supervision and provide directions to
peers.

o   Ability to write and present reports and interact with vendors and
senior management.

o   Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005, & 2008, 2012 including:

•         Debugging and performance tuning stored procedures, UDFs and
triggers

•         Index analysis

•         Data normalization

•         Various monitoring and tuning tools such as Profiler, Spotlight

•         Advanced installation and configuration procedures

•         Hardware, including clusters, RAID, multi-processor architecture,
etc.

•         Database replication

•         VBScript and advanced DTS, SSIS package design

•         Networking and how it relates to SQL Server connectivity

•         Shell scripting (i.e. command line applications, batch files,
etc.)

o   Excellent understanding of Windows 2008 and Windows 2003 and latest
version

o   Advance features of SQL Database Server

•         SQL 2012 new features

•         Latest PowerShell scripting knowledge

•         MS SharePoint knowledge from database perspective



*Experience:*

•         Ten plus years of experience in a large scale SQL 2000, 2005 and
2008 environments.

•         Advanced knowledge of multi-node clustered SQL environments.

•         Advanced knowledge of Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008 server.



*Education/Vocational Training:*

• A four year degree in computer science or equivalent is desired



*•         Functional/Technical Skills:*

o   Be able to work with little or no supervision and provide directions to
peers.

o   Ability to write and present reports and interact with vendors and
senior management.

o   Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server 2000, 2005, & 2008 including:
