an insurance company located in Pekin, IL is looking to bring onboard 5
Business Analysts who have experience in one of the following insurance
areas: Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, P&C Claim, P&C Actuary, or
Accounting.

Looking for these resources to build, change processes and policy's.

Our goal is to have each candidate aligned with one of those types of
insurance areas so we can align them properly with the business side. It is
important that we have candidates with insurance experience, as that is
pertinent to the needs of the business right now; especially with the
Guidewire project quickly approaching.

Using business analysis methodology best practices to analyze, specify and
validate customer’s functional and non-functional business requirements

Facilitate requirements gathering using various techniques (Brainstorming,
Document Analysis, Interface Analysis, Interview, Observation, Prototyping,
Requirements Workshops and Survey Questionnaires) with diverse customer
stakeholders including C-level executives

Documentation of customer work processes utilizing Visio for context flow.
cross functional and process flow diagrams

Preparation of feasibility studies, scope definition, business case
documents in partnership with Project Managers

Identify and manage assigned project issues and risks; provide status
updates to the Project Manager

Identify Business Analyst deliverables and provide work breakdown tasks and
estimates for each to support project timeline

Cultivate internal relationships across departments in order to resolve
customer issues efficiently

Develop rich understanding of client business requirements and facilitate
required transition of that knowledge to the project team and maintenance
teams

Operate as a consultant with internal partners and clients to define
solutions that balance client needs with the product road map and standard
offering

Deliver a positive professional image of IT processes, deliverables and
personnel

Identify and make recommendations for business and IT process improvements
