Minimum 10-12 years of hard core PL/SQL development experience · Technical Design & Development of Database modules and components such as database packages and procedures, MVs etc. Coding, Code Reviews & Unit Testing. Reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code · Deliverable to be error free while meeting requirements. Create Technical Documentation. Supports infrastructure upgrades, technology upgrades and installations. Works on periodic maintenance releases of applications, including enhancements and defects. Innovative approach with focus on continuous improvement. Effectively collaborate and interact with globally distributed teams · Must have a good understanding of SDLC Processes Essential Experience and Skills: · Good understanding of RDBMS Concepts, Oracle PLSQL, SQL. Must have at least 5 years’ experience with Oracle PLSQL Development. In-depth knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g+ Development · In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL including tuning. Familiarity with Oracle specific tools and utilities such as Quest TOAD, PLSQL Developer. Experience with Unix/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting · Good understanding of Data warehousing and ETL concepts is preferred. Experience with software configuration management tools such as Clear Case Desirable skills: · Previous working experience in a globally distributed team and large scale(minimum 25 TB) databases. Understanding of Corporate functions such as Risk and Finance is helpful but not required. · Previous experience with technical documentation (eg. Technical design documents, release documentation etc.). Previous work experience in a data warehousing is nice to have. · Good working knowledge of job scheduling and monitoring tools such as Autosys.
