*Title: PeopleSoft functional consultant* *Location: Livingston, NJ*
*6 months * *ONLY GC,USC* *ONLY LOCALS* Responsibilities: This would be a functional support role for PeopleSoft application including GL/AP/AM/PO. Support users with inquiries on GL/AP/AM/PO modules. This will require the individual to work closely with global accounting and technical IT staff to diagnose and resolve production issues and/or user issues. Support for month end close processes. Managing projects for system enhancements including directing project team members. Support general ledger maintenance of chartfields and business processes. REQUIRED SKILL SET The Position will require the following skill set (note reference to general ledger includes all PeopleSoft modules). 3-5+ years’ experience of functional skills using the PeopleSoft General Ledger application (v8.4 and v9.2). 3-5+ years’ experience supporting and resolving issues related to accounting entry users (both within the PeopleSoft General Ledger application and general accounting entries). 3-5+ years’ experience understanding and assisting with technical issues that affect the PeopleSoft General Ledger application (both technical and functional issues). Experience Leading a project to add or modify PeopleSoft General ledger functionality. Experience leading a full cycle project to add customization to the General Ledger application, including developing the necessary work plan and work tasks related to the completion of the project. Experience managing PeopleSoft support staff (both technical and functional PeopleSoft resources), for both support and project tasks. Experience developing and delivering training for the PeopleSoft General Ledger functionality. Experience developing and documenting general ledger accounting business processes (integrating PeopleSoft functionality with external processes for a complete business process). Understanding and developing Business Processes for functional changes resulting from the project (i.e. on-going maintenance, etc.). Experience with implementation of a PeopleSoft GL application.
